Kannada film industry has lost a veteran director D Rajendra Babu early on Sunday morning. He suffered a massive heart attack and as Shivarajakumar immediately reacted in the death it is a ‘Great Loss’ to Kannada cinema industry. It is true. He has finished two schedules of ‘Aryan’ starring Shivarajakumar, Ramya, Archana Gupta in the lead roles. The major schedule of abroad was about to begin.

He has finished Kuchiku Kuchiku starring his daughter Nakshatra. Aged 62 years D Rajendra Babu has given some of the lovely films and his wife is Sumithra top actress of South India, his first daughter is Uma Maheshwari well known actress and second daughter Nakshatra is also an actress.

Starting his career as assistant to SV Rajendra Singh Babu, D Rajendra Babu became independent director from ‘Jiddu’. Some of the top films of this director is Swabhimana, Naanu Nanna Hendthi, Asambhava, Olavina Udugore, Yuga Purusha, Ramachari, Annayya, Halunda Thavaru, Jeevanadhi, Appaji, Jodi Hakki, Yaare Neenu Cheluve, Habba, Preethse, Diggajaru etc. He has also directed Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam films.

D Rajendra Babu ambitious project ‘Aryan’ is left unfulfilled. The body of the gigantic director D Rajendra Babu was brought to his Boopasandra residence.
